Life is, of course, about much more than good design. It's about giving back to the communities we live in and trying in our own ways, big or small, to make the world a better place.

 

Since 2004 Ian has been heavily involved in organising "Let's Go Surfing" days with the Gold Coast Disabled Surfers Association - a not-for-profit organisation that takes people of all disabilities surfing in a safe, friendly and fun environment. Ian has been involved with the DSA on both a national and international level and the pure stoke enjoyed by participants and volunteers alike is amazing to see.

 

Since 2013 Ignite have also been offering pro-bono design services for Community Mates and have worked closely with the organisation to establish their identity on their journey to start a change in the way people are able to volunteer for their community.
